Next Door’s Winter 2018 Newsletter
We’re excited to share our latest community newsletter with you and offer a peek inside of what’s happening at Next Door!
This edition offers a full wrap-up of an incredible holiday giving season at Next Door, from financial donations to gifts for our students and families. We also feature a new professional development tool for our teachers – a Literacy Coach-in-Residence. The coach is a recently-retired early childhood language development expert from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she spent more than 30 years on the faculty.
A few more highlights include another record for our Books for Kids program and a visit from Milwaukee Bucks center Thon Maker, who came to read with our children as part of his youth literacy initiative.
