Next Door’s Covid-19 Community Resource Fair

Next Door’s Covid-19 Vaccine Outreach Team hosted a community resource fair on August 28, 2021. Special guests included Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley.
The event offered educational information about Covid-19 and the vaccination from Medical College of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy. There were also opportunities to get vaccinated from City of Milwaukee Health Department. There were several other community organizations attending as well offering free resources to support Milwaukee families during the pandemic, including Habitat for Humanity, Milwaukee County Energy Assistance Program and The Parenting Network.
Next Door’s Covid-19 Vaccine Outreach Team launched this summer through a grant with Wisconsin Department of Health Services. The team is spreading education about the virus and the vaccination in the neighborhoods Next Door serves and providing opportunities to get vaccinated.
