Read for Children is a month-long event that builds literacy skills and provides reading materials to young children in the Milwaukee community.

- Student Book Fairs
- Community book drives
- Month-long expanded Volunteer Read with Me
- Classroom read-ins at our two center-based sites, 11 partnership sites, and home-based programs
- At-home family reading challenge

- Collect 5,000 books
- Read to children for 50,000 minutes
- Raise $70,000 for Books for Kids
