Adult Basic Education / High School Equivalency

Next Door’s Adult Education team works closely with students to help them earn their GED and more. There is no cost to enroll in this program.

What we offer:

  • Individualized/small group instruction in all GED subject areas
  • GED test preparation
  • Preparation for the competency-based 5.09 program (HSED)
  • Create pathways to technical college programs/universities
  • Preparation for college entrance tests: Accuplacer, SAT, ACT
  • Workforce preparation and digital literacy skills
  • Personal finance instruction
  • One-on-one tutoring
  • The Early Childhood Scholars program, in partnership with Milwaukee Area Technical College, offers a chance to earn a Child Development Associate credential to begin a career in early childhood education. Evening classes are taught at Next Door by MATC faculty and childcare is provided.

Class Schedule:

  • Monday through Wednesday
  • 9 am to 12 pm or 1 pm to 4 pm
