Books for Kids 30th Birthday Celebration!

Books for Kids has been one of Next Door’s flagship programs for more than three decades. It has provided more than a million free books to countless children, their families and many Milwaukee organizations over the years.
Your support will provide literacy programs and at least three books per month for more than 1,300 children next school year.
Help us host our largest book drive ever!
During this two-week event, you can:
- Host a book drive (Click HERE for book drive kit)
- Donate books from home
- Shop our Amazon Wish List for high-need books
- Make a financial gift to the program
- Ask friends to make a donation
- Spread the word on social media
The celebration will culminate in a virtual event on July 28th celebrating the program’s history and announcing the results.
