Support Books for Kids

Purchase new books or host a book drive for Next Door students and children in Milwaukee.  Your donation helps build at-home libraries and develop a love of reading!  Since 1990, Books for Kids has distributed over 2 million books.  Your donation continues to fuel the ongoing success of our Books for Kids program.

Help children in our early childhood programs arrive ready to learn, create, and grow by supporting our School Supply Drive. Donations of backpacks, construction paper, paper, glue, paint, markers, Play-Doh, and other classroom essentials ensure young learners have the tools they need for hands-on learning. Every gift helps children build confidence, creativity, and a strong foundation for success.

Purchase a variety of personal hygiene and care items to support Next Door families with basic needs at home. Items include: diapers, first aid kit, hand soap, hand sanitizer, tooth brushes and toothpaste, deodorant and toilet paper. Donations will ship directly to Next Door where we will package the supplies into special kits for our families.

Purchase Walmart gift cards for Next Door families as part of the Walmart Registry For Good program. The cards will provide emergency relief for families to buy food, clothes and other essential household. Cards can be purchased for values of $10, $25, or $50 and will ship directly to Next Door.
