Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service covers online “Read with Me”
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit and Next Door had to close our buildings, community volunteers stepped up to support Next Door with an online “Read with Me” program. Volunteers recorded just over 60 stories and submitted them to Next Door to share with students and their families to engage in story time at home.
