In 2019, Next Door marked 50 years of serving the Milwaukee community. As part of the celebration of the milestone year, Next Door produced a 50th Anniversary commemorative book to share with the community.
The opening of Educare Milwaukee at Next Door came in 2005, marking a pivotal part of the agency’s evolution into a leading provider of high quality early childhood education for Milwaukee families.
Pepi Randolph was 10-years-old when he started attending Next Door at its old location at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Today, he’s 58, married with three sons and a successful businessman.

The Next Step Clinic opened in late October to address the mental health and developmental needs of Milwaukee’s underserved children and families. Clinic staff say it has become an extremely welcome resource for the families being served.
